Trying is overrated.
When you finally get to the top, people will only criticize you. That's what's wrong with humans, we criticize, especially out of jealousy. It's lame and childish. The human race is pitiful. Some people just can't get it through their thick skulls. And people who don't recognize this flaw and question life, something just might be wrong with them. I judge intelligence by depth. People who just accept and never think, well they aren't too bright. And there I go, criticizing. But alas, I am a despicable member of the human race too. I have my flaws and I recognize them.

Maybe last year was better.
I had the ability to feel last year. I wasn't always upbeat, but that was the beauty of it. If I had a good day, it was more special because it wasn't as common. I had my ups and my downs last year. There was drama. There was always something new, a twist. Maybe I liked that. It had color. This year is all the same color. Every day is the same. It's not bad, I just don't feel.
